Delete Your Lift Account

You can permanently delete your Lift account at any time. Once deleted, your personal information is erased and you will be signed out of all devices immediately.

Option 1 — From the App

1. Open the Lift app and sign in.
2. Go to the Profile tab.
3. Scroll down and tap Delete account.
4. Confirm when prompted.

Your account is deleted instantly.

Option 2 — By Email

If you can no longer access the app, send an email to support@getlift.ng with the subject "Account Deletion Request". Include the phone number or email address associated with your Lift account so we can verify your identity. We will process your request within 48 hours.

What Gets Deleted

• Phone number, email address, and display name
• KYC documents (driver's licence photo, selfie, NIN details)
• Push notification tokens and active sessions
• Bank and payout details

What Is Retained

Transaction records, booking history, and wallet ledger entries are retained in anonymised form (with no link to your personal identity) as required for legal, financial, and audit purposes under applicable Nigerian law. Your phone number is freed and can be used to create a new account at any time.
